Mock Interview
by Marty Redmund
I read information on your website about getting a mock interview. What's the real benefit to me for shelling out money to do this? I've had interviews and think I do OK. How do I know if I need help with this? _______________ Marty - A mock interview is a great way to get feedback from a professional on how you come across in an interview. It's incredibly common for candidates to think that they have done well on an interview, only to find that they are not called in for round two. You should think of a mock interview as a personal coaching session. You'll pick up tips for how to answer tough questions, learn how to position problematic areas of your resume, and in short, be totally prepared. If you are doing a lot of interviews, and you are not converting those interviews into job offers, you will likely benefit from a mock interview session. The investment required is small, yet the rewards can be great. Is a mock interview right for everyone? My personal opinion is that everyone can benefit from one-on-one coaching. But, if your personal stats suggest that you're not landing second interviews and then turning those second interviews into offers, this is a service specifically designed for you. More information about mock interviews can be found in this section: . Hope this helps! |
