Flying Drumstick!

During spring break of my senior year of college, I landed an interview with Colgate Palmolive for a fast-track, highly competitive internship program. Unfortunately, the program director wanted to interview me over dinner at a nice restaurant and I made the mistake of ordering a greasy roasted chicken.

In hindsight, I COULD'VE used a fork and knife, but being a 21-year-old college student, I guess I didn't know any better. My napkin was gross as I had to keep wiping my hands and face and at one point when I finally figured out to use utensils I guess it was too late to avoid the slipperiness, because my drumstick went flying across the restaurant.

But guess what--I got the job! However, 20 years later, I still haven't forgetten how mortified I was.
